LayerZero ♾️ EigenCloud: bridging with economic security. Why do you need economic security for a DVN? 1) Disincentives: Any malicious behavior by the DVN operators is punishable by slashing. This creates concrete disincentives for misbehavior. 2) Insured bridge: Over time this will be a fully insured bridge where every transaction is insured and if the operator is malicious, the users get their stolen value paid back. 3) Starting small: we are starting with 3 chains and a small amount of stake but will expand this over time to cover other chains.
