Real question: Is any DEX running an auction every Flashblock or miniblock with a reliable execution/fill event? If not, that’s not a block – and not useful to traders considering execution latency. Conversely, a DEX can run a DFBA every block on @fogo. That’s a block. There’s some trickiness in doing this in practice mostly due to oracle latency and order org (which means the auction likely runs every 2-3 blocks) – but has nothing to do with the confidence of the full consensus Fogo block every 40ms – and will likely be resolved in short order by the DEX’s. I’ll report back when we’re getting an execution event every block on a DEX as that’s the true test. And will be cool to see what this enables – from new and existing apps.
