The Bera validator set has purposefully halted the chain to prevent the Balancer exploit which affected the BEX, primarily the USDe tripool.
- Got Ethena team to disable bridging out of Bera
- Had lending markets disable / pause deposits for USDe
- Paused HONEY mints / redeems
- Communicated with CEXes etc to make sure that addresses are blacklisted
The goal is to recover funds ASAP and ensure that all LPs are safe. The team will release a binary to relevant validators and service providers as soon as its ready (as this pool contains non-native assets, it involves some slot refactoring etc as opposed to just modifying a Bera balance)
