Soon you'll be seeing Arweave and AO running huge screens of interactive art at some of the top galleries and event spaces in the world.
We met @oltaArt this year after a fantastic interactive art demo at Arweave Day in Berlin.
After Warp's SmartWeave-based compute layer shut down, we offered to help them migrate to @aoTheComputer HyperBEAM as a way to revive interactive functionality, build wild new GPU-based features, and get the audience experience ready for exhibitions at scale.
Since then we've collaborated on a new infrastructure layer that takes the interaction latency down from ~5 seconds to practically 0, and OLTA has started shipping the exhibition side of the software for galleries and event spaces.
The Connect artwork is a simple piece with a big message: art can be collaborative, real-time, distributed, stored forever, and powered by AO processes.
We're excited to be working with artists like @seigneurrrr, @epok_tech, @phenomenalabs and other @artblocks alumni to build infrastructure for art that remembers.
