Sats inflation decreased a lot for Ethena S5. There is a supply of USDe/sUSDe YTs equal to $3.03B, earning on average 30.3 sats per YT. Proportionally to the total USDe TVL, this is significantly lower than previous seasons. Right now the daily sats inflation is around 180B, vs >500B at the end of S4. This means that on average, each USDe earns 14 sats per day (would need to take into account sENA, but supply is quite fixed). It's too early in the season to really be able to predict if YTs are good buys, but it's worth updating spreadsheets. Many things can change (ENA's price, for example). Hopefully, sUSDe APR doesn't remain ass for too long. I'll keep watching.
