I hate to make this analogy, but it’s for the greater few—Bitcoin mining stocks will be the next meme stocks.
Bitcoin mining stocks will be both the FOMO and revenge trade for market participants who missed $MSTR and Bitcoin at lower prices.
In a peak FOMO period, fundamentals matter less. Retail FOMO will want to beat Bitcoin and MSTR, and mining stock prices will look cheap and attractive. You won’t hear the word “dilution” for months when this happens.
Hedge funds know this, and will stop shorting mining stocks; I’m not suggesting they’ll ALL short $MSTR… but some may be retarded enough to try.
Additionally, few astute $MSTR investors have been following the fundamentals and the transformation occurring in the mining industry—they will roll some profits into the top Bitcoin mining stocks with the strongest operations.
