The staking pilot program from our POV serves as a foundational building block for Zknomics, which is the basis for $ZK to serve as a core protocol utility token.
We want the staking infra to enable a reality where network usage drives protocol revenue, and that revenue is programmatically directed towards 2 core functions:
1. incentivizing protocol participants, and
2. managing token supply.
