Trading-focused blockchains face a brutal test: users can move wherever liquidity and execution are best. Sei’s specialization therefore makes ecosystem quality particularly important. If applications can generate persistent trading activity, the network has a strong reason to exist. But if activity depends mainly on incentives, maintaining momentum becomes much harder once market conditions change.
