I’ve seen several commemorative posts marking the first anniversary of 10.11, and the wealth effect today is clearly much weaker.
Take Bitcoin as an example. After the 3.12 crash, BTC surged roughly 15x over the following year during the bull market.
But from its 2022 bottom to its 2025 peak, the gain was only a little over 6x, despite taking more than three years.
Bitcoin may need a major catalyst to trigger another market reset. Otherwise, we could remain stuck.
