The rapid development of various metaverse projects is leading the blockchain industry into a new era. In order to support the development of the metaverse and GameFi, OKX is launching a new metaverse-focused program to support the development of GameFi, or play-to-earn crypto projects, which will include $10 million in funding for various initiatives.
The metaverse program will include grants available to early stage projects, a metaverse-themed hackathon to bring recognition to projects that are ready to launch, as well as prioritized listings and marketing support for more established GameFi projects on OKX. The hackathon will be sponsored by prominent GameFi platforms and will offer workshops, support and a demo day to connect developers with potential VC investors. The OKX metaverse program is the first comprehensive ecosystem offering support to GameFi projects of all stages.

- OKXChain Metaverse Hackathon:
OKX Blockdream Ventures — coordinating with Animoca Brands, Yield Guild Games and other top global partners — will host a hackathon with the theme "BUIDL IN METAFORCE" on Aug. 26. The winning team will receive $1 million in funding as well as additional support from OKX, such as advanced listing and promotional marketing. OKX will provide fast listing and marketing channel support for outstanding OEC-based GameFi projects.
