🚨 THE BIP-110 “THREAT” TO BITCOIN LOOKS A LOT WEAKER THAN THE HEADLINES SUGGEST. Michael Saylor opposing BIP-110 barely changes the actual picture. The real issue is miner coordination—and right now, there’s nowhere near enough support for this to become a credible lock-in path. As of July 29, only 10 out of 454 blocks were signaling for it—just 2.20%. That leaves 1,099 more blocks out of the next 1,562 needed to reach the threshold, or roughly 70.4%. And some of the biggest mining pools—Foundry, AntPool, and ViaBTC—showed zero signaling. There’s another important detail: under legacy Stratum V1, version bits often reflect mining-pool template policy, not necessarily the personal conviction of individual miners. Even Predyx’s September-enforcement market was sitting at just 8.37%, which is hardly a strong signal of market confidence. So, for $BTC, the takeaway is simple: Near-term base-layer change risk remains low. The noise may be loud, but the actual numbers are telling a much quieter story. 👀 #Bitcoin #BTC #BIP110 #DailyOrbit #FedRateDecision #BigTechEarningsNight #SKHynixRecordMiss
