STORY TIME
This ridiculous concept started for fun—merging two communities that have invested heavily in me: BONK and Galactic Geckos.
It pays tribute to all the homies and heroes who get me hyped to show up and build every day on Solana.
But what started for fun…turned into a beautiful/stressful sh*tshow.
When the Let’s BONK platform launched, someone stole my unfinished art and launched it as a memecoin called $BAM by Scotty.
The deployer rugged, made a bag, then dipped.
The community hit me up hyped on the art, and I chose to support the token.
I expected it to go to zero overnight, but the trenches had different plans.
@theunipcs (BONK Guy) aped in fueling the $BAM rocket to ~$3M market cap.
Since then, the support for what I've been building has been overwhelming.
At the same time, I’ve caught a TON of hate for never hard-shilling the ticker.
Everything has been organic, as my reputation is everything to me.
The community put in the work so I could focus on finishing the art while making moves under the BONK/BAM umbrella.🙏🏻
This piece timestamps the most insane rollercoaster season of my Solana career.
But the mission has always stayed the same:
To spotlight what BONK Art Masters and the Space Garage are doing for the SOL ecosystem.
What started as a fun experiment…
