Last week, we hosted our very first Drift DeFi Day as a part of Accelerate Week in the most beautiful greenhouse, right in the heart of NYC. It feels surreal. I’ve dreamed of hosting an event like this for years, and I’m so grateful to everyone who showed up to support us.
This was Drift’s first-ever summit. A day to celebrate what we’ve built, the partners who’ve believed in us, and the ecosystem that’s grown around our shared vision. Things are the most tangible, energetic and real they've ever been.
At Drift DeFi Day, we officially announced Drift Institutional, our collaboration with Apollo/Securitize, the launch of DLP, and our vision for @DriftFDN. We also unveiled the 60+ teams building in the Drift ecosystem, each one contributing to the momentum of DeFi on Solana. It’s been incredible to watch Drift evolve into a foundational layer for the next era of open finance.
This week also marks four years since Drift began. I started this with the best team I could’ve asked for, and to see it all come to life in a space filled with beauty, community, and conviction is something I’ll never forget.
