I originally didn't plan to make a post about this, but I’ve been using @UseUniversalX for a few days now and honestly it's crazy how good it works.
I’ve tried a ton of tried a ton of trading platforms over the years and most of them are either slow, clunky, or still make you bridge and prep stuff ahead of time. They aren't multi-chain either.
Also kind of made me realize how much time I waste on setup when trading.
Just a personal example from earlier:
I was looking to grab some $RENDER, noticed a small price diff across ETH and SOL, and without thinking too much I just placed the trade. No bridging, no switching wallets, didn’t even check what chain my funds were on.
The best thing? It automatically combined and grabbed my USDC from Base and Arbitrum (it used it for gas too!)
I’m used to prepping everything manually for years usually. Moving tokens to the “right” chain, swapping for gas, juggling wallets. This just abstracts it all. You trade first, think about chains later. Imagine what this does for new retail.
It actually feels more like using a centralized exchange, but without giving up control of your wallet. I haven’t felt that before in DeFi. Just quick, full visibility of balances across chains, and gas is handled behind the scenes.
Oh, and also:
I signed up with Google. That’s it. No seed phrase, no extension.
I currently got tokens from Solana, ETH L2s, and BNB Chain all sitting in one place, ready to trade.
It’s kinda weird that I've not seen this mentioned a lot yet. It's been all about metamask for years but honestly that one is terrible 😅
I’m not shilling this or anything, I just found something that legit removed a bunch of the friction I’d gotten used to in DeFi trading. And when something helps me catch trades faster without all the usual juggling, I feel like it’s worth sharing.
Curious if anyone else has tried it.
