Ethereum is now proposing an EIP that lets rollups reuse L1’s state transition verification — so they don’t have to rebuild complex proof systems or custom governance.
But… @Polkadot solved this in 2020.
On Polkadot:
-All parachains share security
-All state transitions are verified by the Relay Chain
-No bespoke proof systems
-No exit windows
-No “governance going rogue” risk
Teams focus on products, not reinventing infra
Ethereum is moving toward shared verification.
