A staking yield may add incremental ETH to the treasury, but if ETH falls sharply, that yield can be overwhelmed by the decline in the underlying asset’s value. The more important questions are: How much ETH does the company hold? What is its actual operating cash burn? How much staking income is being generated? Does it need to sell ETH to finance operations? What happens to the treasury if ETH remains weak for an extended period? So your conclusion is reasonable: staking can enhance an ETH treasury, but it doesn't remove ETH price risk.
