Metaplanet plans to raise $5.4 billion in Bitcoin captive equity and plans to hold 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026
PANews reported on June 6 that Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich announced the launch of Bitcoin exclusive equity financing, planning to raise 770.9 billion yen (about 5.4 billion US dollars), which was completed through the issuance of 555 million dynamic exercise warrants.
The goal of this funding is to hold 100,000 BTC by the end of 2026 and increase to 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027, representing 1% of the total Bitcoin supply.
Previously, Metaplanet successfully completed a 21 billion plan, raising 93.3 billion yen (about 650 million US dollars) in just 60 trading days, with a bitcoin yield of 189%, the stock price has tripled since the announcement, and ranked among the top 10 bitcoin holdings in the world.
