I just set up my @solanamobile Seeker device and…. Wow, this feels like the future. I also wanted to try something different.… Could I use this device for digital money AND secure messaging without giving away any personal information, without using a phone number, without anything? I only want to use a private key. 🔑 I want digital money + secure chat. It worked perfectly and kinda blew my mind. The only thing it required was a burner Gmail address that he suggested a random username for me. Opt-out of everything else and it knows nothing. Here’s what I did… The UX for setting up the Solana Seeker wallet and username was magic 🪄 well done team. The biometrics on the side to sign with the wallet was so smooth. I made a Seeker wallet. Seamless. I know @phantom works well with @solana so I figured I’d see how it worked together. It was flawless. The connect flow to the biometrics was honestly the best onboarding UX I’ve seen. Done. Phantom + Seeker worked perfectly. Now for secure chat. 💬 I wanted all my XMTP chats on the Seeker device so I downloaded @baseapp. My first time using Base on Android and the experience was flawless. I made a new burner identity and had an inbox in under 30 seconds. Now I have a wallet that’s native and working with Phantom, and an inbox as secure as Signal that’s all based on a private key not my identity. The entire device has nothing about me. Just newly generated keys that unlock money and messaging for me. The entire experience kinda blew my mind how simple it was. To think I have a new Android device running solely on private keys that can do 99% of anything I do on a phone related to crypto is insane. Money and messaging are the 2 foundational primitives that I need to be functional on a day to day basis. And in under 10 minutes I have it all. Lots of things I’d like to improve and simplify but overall this was such a cool experience. DM me if you wanna message me on my new Seeker burner address. Communication drives commerce so allowing me to trade where I talk is the big unlock here. Own where I talk, own where I trade.
