Birbish Next Phase 🫡 @moonbirds
🦉@moonbirds just hit 2x the daily trading volume of Punks. The current metrics for Moonbirds are looking incredibly strong. Founder @spencer has been doing an amazing job both online and offline. He’s been actively sharing Moonbirds updates on Twitter and even joking around, saying The bald founder meta will win. Soon, Moonbirds will also host a TOKEN2049 party supported by Solana. 🤔However, there’s one thing I’m concerned about If we look at the case of @doodles after their TGE, the NFT price plummeted (which, to be fair, is quite common) Doodles once pumped to 7.8 ETH on token airdrop hype, then dropped to 3 ETH, and after the actual drop worth around $1.5K–$2K disappointment led to heavy selling. It eventually went down to 0.7 ETH. @Azuki faced a similar situation. They’re also working on a TCG game like Moonbirds, but their floor price keeps sliding. Even though Orange Cap Games (who previously worked on Pudgy Penguins’ TCG) is involved, Web3 games have struggled to show strong results so far. We all know that. So, can Moonbirds’ TCG really succeed? Despite these doubts, I decided to buy and here’s why 1. Founder Spencer is genuinely community-driven, like Luca Netz. 2. Moonbirds’ previous ATH was around 30 ETH, so at this price, it’s roughly 1/10th of its peak. 3. I just wanted to shout Birbish! 🦉
