There are a lot of questions about how XP works on @defidotapp and what staking $HOME actually does so let’s break it down real simple ⬇️
staking = more XP fuel • when you stake $HOME, you get “charges” — think of them like XP fuel • the more you stake and the longer you lock it, the more charges you get • these charges are automatically used when you earn XP on swaps or perps
no charges = no XP multiplier. so yeah, staking matters. Because staking gives you a competitive edge in the $HOME economy. the XP system is built to reward users who are in it not just farming and dumping.
perps XP 101: • if you’re not into leverage trading you can still make small perps trades and earn XP • XP from perps is delayed — it hits your account ~2 days later • your XP is based on leverage, size, how long you hold, and whether your position is up or down
swaps = easy XP: • every swap earns XP, period • stables too: no more penalty • it’s the simplest way to engage and stack
and fwiw the UI is clean af. i won’t go into every button and metric here, but you’ll get it fast once you’re in. i’m still figuring out how much $HOME to stake long-term, but this setup is clearly the backbone of the v2 flywheel and mobile’s coming next.
