Currently, the Builder market is becoming lively again in response to Bitcoin reaching an All Time High, and with the prices of many project Tokens soaring, new technologies and broader opportunities are emerging for those who want to start their lives in Web3. . In this post, I would like to share my personal perspective on interesting Chains for Technical Builders who want to contribute seriously during this time. . 1. Ethereum – The backbone of Web3 . #Advantages - Has a stable and reliable technology base - Has the most Stablecoin and DeFi Volume in the world - Large Ecosystem, supportive Community - Many development tools available, such as Hardhat, Foundry, The Graph - Suitable for expanding in all aspects, including Infra, Protocol, and Consumer App - Recognized by institutions #Disadvantages - Very high competition - Prizes in Hackathons are often widely distributed due to high participation - Mainnet still has issues with speed and high Gas fees - Must learn Layer 2 if you want to save costs, which complicates things 2. Solana – Speed that brings forth many new Innovations, many Narratives are emerging here. #Advantages - Suitable for projects that require high Throughput, such as DEX, Orderbook, Real-time Games - Easy access to Core Contributors - Constantly new Narratives, such as Chain-native memes, trading bots - Community responds quickly, with increasing Funding and Hackathons - Rust is a high-performance language - Recognized by institutions #Disadvantages - Those coming from EVM must learn Rust and the new structure - There are now many competitors in the Ecosystem due to the strong trend 3. Sui – A new L1 competitor to ETH and Solana, suitable for GameFi and complex DApp Logic, requiring high speed. #Advantages - Uses an Object-based model suitable for creating games or Ownership systems - Very high Performance, well-suited for Trading / Asset Movement tasks - Plenty of funding and prizes available - Recognized by institutions and rapid growth in Users & TVL - Close Technical Support #Disadvantages - There are still points to watch out for regarding Logic that uses Permission - The Ecosystem is still new, and the number of DApps that can connect is still limited #Case Study ContributionDAO organized the Sui Hacker House & Academy over two weeks at a hotel in Bangkok. . At this event, we incubated, shared knowledge, invited Mentors, and provided various resources to over 60 participants, some of whom were just starting out, while others were transitioning from Web2. What happened was: . The team from ContributionDAO Hacker House won the grand prize at the Sui Overflow 2025 event. . 1st place (SuiSign) received a cash prize of 1,000,000 THB. . 3rd place (PactDa) received a prize of 275,000 THB. . Total prizes amounted to over 1.27 million THB. 4. Monad – The fastest EVM and in the earliest stage. #Advantages - Still in Testnet, making it a golden opportunity to Build for Product-Market Fit using Users who come to collect Airdrops - Full access to the Ethereum Ecosystem as it is EVM-compatible - A Community that constantly drives Narratives, both from Builders and Users - Very high Performance and has the advantage of EVM compatibility #Disadvantages - Not yet Mainnet and still has limitations in Development and Tooling - Still reliant on the Community to expand various aspects of Infra 5. Celestia – A Modular Chain for those who want to be at the forefront. #Advantages - A Chain that separates Data Availability, making it suitable for those who want to create Rollups or App Chains - High funding, very few competitors - The Foundation team provides close support, and there are not many Builders yet - EVM-based, making it easy to start for those coming from Ethereum #Disadvantages - Still has few Developers and Users, need to Build some parts on your own - Uses some stacks that differ from typical Monolithic L1, must understand Modular Architecture #Special Opportunity 🦣 Want to develop a dApp but don’t know where to start? Join the Camp Mamo boot camp, a 4-week intensive program that will teach you from the basics to actually developing a dApp on Celestia! 🦣 . ✅ Free to join! No cost involved ✅ No worries about language — Thai subtitles are available specifically for Thai Devs ✅ Learn with a world-class team alongside developers from around the globe ✅ Paving the way for Mammothon V2 – an exciting Global Hackathon you shouldn’t miss . 📅 Starts August 4th . 📌 Sign up now at: [ For more information 📌 .
