Review of the Cross-Chain product experience from Kyber Network
@KyberNetwork, a long-standing reputable project supported by OG Vitalik Buterin, has recently expanded its cross-chain capabilities through KyberSwap. Below are some personal experiences when using KyberSwap.
1. The interface is quite beautiful, with a decent UI/UX that fully supports all chains and the most popular wallets. Newcomers to the market won't find it too complicated to use; it's smooth and easy, similar to CEX exchanges.
2. The tokens available for bridging are also very diverse and comprehensive on the bridged chains. Kyber even provides clear warning information about the bridge status and token information to avoid mistakenly bridging to junk tokens or untrustworthy tokens.
3. There are options available for us to choose from; if we want speed, we can select a higher slippage rate, while if we prefer to be cautious, we can set a lower rate. However, KyberSwap has set limits on slippage to prevent significant asset loss during bridging. Additionally, as shown in the image, there are clearly many bridges for us to choose from, and KyberSwap has evaluated which bridge to use for optimal results, making it very convenient.
4. The fees are quite low compared to other bridges.
From Base to Op, the fees are almost free, and the confirmation time is only 1 second. The bridging between Ethereum and L2 or vice versa is also extremely fast and cheap.
If you are DEGENing with AI projects on Base, Kyber is one of the best choices.
In summary:
- The UI/UX is extremely user-friendly with no points to criticize.
- There are optimal options suggested by Kyber, making it easy for newbies to use.
- Currently, only a few chains can still be bridged.
- There are comprehensive warnings and dedicated user support.
P.S.: A little off-topic, cross-chain bridges are known for being the most hacked, but previously Kyber unfortunately experienced a hack, and the team resolved all assets for users. Therefore, if there are unfortunate incidents in the future, I still completely trust the Kyber team.
