The WOO X platform has reportedly suffered an attack, resulting in losses exceeding $12 million. Suspicious transactions involve #BTC, #ETH, #BNB, and #ARB networks, with investigations showing a suspicious address received $1 million in #USDT and #ETH from WOO's hot wallet. The WOO team has confirmed the incident and suspended withdrawals for investigation, but user funds and transactions remain unaffected.
🚨ALERT🚨Our system has detected multiple suspicious transactions with an estimated loss of more than $12M involving @_WOO_X among $BTC, $ETH, $BNB, and $ARB networks.
Suspicious address on $ETH received $1M $USDT from WOO’s hot wallet, with additional $ETH.
The full $1M in $USDT was swapped to $ETH and later $7.3M worth of funds were moved to a new address.
On $BNB Chain, 5 $BTCB was received from WOO, swapped to $BNB, and sent to another brand new address.
The WOO team has acknowledged the incident, stating: “We're currently investigating a contained incident that occurred on WOO X earlier today.” While user funds and trading remain unaffected, withdrawals have been temporarily paused during the ongoing investigation."
