The largest prediction market Polymarket is set to acquire QCEX and is about to return to the US market. Recently, I've been working on the data for Polymarket's first TG Bot, Polycule:
- In just two months since its inception, Polycule has accumulated a trading volume of ~$5.4m, mainly from mid to late June until now (there are some discrepancies with the official figures, but this error should decrease over time).
- In the past week, the average daily trading volume has been between $50k and $100k, currently accounting for about 0.2%-0.3% of Polymarket's daily trading volume.
- There are 310 cumulative trading users, with an average of around 40-50 per day; if we include non-trading Bot users, the total exceeds 6k.
- Polycule has been charging fees since June 29, and has accumulated $10,900 in fees, of which 30% will be used to repurchase PCULE. On July 17, the first repurchase was completed, buying back 501,642.02 PCULE for $2,936.15.
The business model of the TG Bot is quite clear; we will see how large the prediction market can grow in the future.
