You have dead gaming projects with 0 users and adoption still at a billion dollars simply because people recognize them from the last cycle.
The opportunity for getting good bets at a cheap price has to be considered in the context of volume and demand --- at the bottom, volume is usually dead, and small purchases with ripple effects can easily double the market cap of a token.
People will look back in hindsight and say, "Oh my god, what an obvious mispricing," but won't have conviction at the moment that matters.
