every time I bring up that I am swapping my profits into stables I get at least 10 comments about why I am an idiot and I am going to miss insane gains by selling too early
during 2023 when everything in crypto was dead and half of you weren't even here yet, the #1 conversation I had with my friends was "I didn't sell enough" and "I roundtripped everything"
I am not saying that the market is topped, and I think we could go higher from here
but there is an insurmountable amount of pain and regret that comes with round tripping because you fell into euphoria
I was buying and holding BTC, ETH, and SOL from the lows in 2023 and scaled out into 2025, so I already did what I set out to do
you don't have to do what I do, I just think back to when everything was dead and I wished I had more money to buy when things were cooked
so yeah, food for thought from someone who was here the entire bear market and didn't sell enough in 2021
