I was invited to the private KOL dinner of @SonicLabs yesterday. Sonic is not a team that just raises the atmosphere before listing like any other project. They have already completed listings on major global exchanges, and based on that achievement, they visited Korea to meet with the community directly. This approach itself is rare, which made a deeper impression on me. At the community meetup held on July 17 (Thursday), goods, food, and the venue were all meticulously prepared, and it was evident how much effort and budget the team put into the event. However, it is true that there was some commotion and confusion on-site due to more people than expected. The Sonic team humbly accepted feedback on this matter, and they conveyed plans to reflect various opinions from industry stakeholders, KOLs, and the community to present a more mature and meaningful meetup during the KBW period. What impressed me the most was that, they were continuously in contact with the parties involved in the incident even after the meetup, working together to resolve the situation, and that this meetup is not just a one-time event, but the starting point for building a long-term relationship with the Korean community. In fact, a special Yappers reward program for Koreans has also started, and they plan to continue ongoing communication and events in the future. I believe it is rare to find a team that genuinely cares for the Korean community and shows it through actions. This is why I am looking forward to @SonicLabs' future endeavors.
