1) We were told that everyone should own a home.
We had a subprime mortgage crisis.
Now we have lack of affordability.
2) We were told that everyone should go to college.
We have $1.8 Tn in student loans and graduates with limited skills.
Now we have a generation that resents ‘the system’.
3) We were told girls and boys should learn to code.
Now we have coders getting disrupted by AI.
4) We were told to invest in 60/40 and that bitcoin is a scam.
Now we have declining bond prices, a declining dollar and digital assets at record highs.
5) We were told to eat ‘low fat diets’ for better health.
Now we have processed foods and obesity spikes from sugar heavy alternatives.
6) We were told there would be answers: for Epstein and UAPs.
Now we have a missing trillion dollars of spending at the Pentagon and more questions.
7) We were told ‘self esteem matters’.
Now we have an ‘everyone gets a trophy generation’ instead of the merit generation.
8) We were told trade with China would lead to peace.
Now we have a peer competitor and economic dependency.
9) We were told Capitalism is bad.
Now we have Marxist leading for mayor in the greatest city on earth.
Make capitalism great again.
