We're working with @worldcoin to scale ZK to all humans.
2/ The world is building the first human-centered blockchain.
Their flagship World ID protocol uses ZK to verify proof of humanness on @World_Chain_, creating a foundation for apps and infrastructure that empower people instead of MEV bots.
3/ Last year, @Worldcoinfnd investigated ZK for the L1 settlement and decentralization roadmap.
After discovering OP Succinct, they challenged us to prove World Chain’s mainnet for 7 days. This pilot program was a first step toward:
4/ Proving World Chain was no easy feat.
It is the third-largest OP Stack chain by gas usage, trailing only Base and OP Mainnet. Given the team's ambitious scaling plans, chain activity will increase at an accelerating rate going forward.
5/ We had to show that OP Succinct could operate at a global scale.
This required serious engineering work:
- Better state management and networking for GPU orchestration
- Improving monitoring for deep visibility into our stack
- Battle testing our open source dependencies at scale
7/ In the process, we showed that OP Succinct:
- Can help even the largest OP Stack rollups switch to ZK
- Is by far the most production-ready ZK solution for the OP stack
8/ We are excited to work with World Chain as they continue to refine their ZK strategy. In particular, we look forward to running a similar experiment with SP1 Hypercube, our next-generation proof system.
