It’s GHO time.
@aave brings its decentralized stablecoin to Avalanche, marking @GHO's first cross-chain L1 launch.
Users can now borrow, supply, and bridge GHO directly through Aave V3.
The 2021 summer of Avalanche Rush brought blue-chip projects like Aave into the ecosystem.
To date, @aave has remained the top protocol by TVL. Now, with GHO, users get access to a censorship-resistant, overcollateralized stablecoin built for lending, LPing, and integrating across the Avalanche DeFi stack.
How it works
⚪️Supply AVAX or other assets to Aave V3
⚪️ Mint GHO using collateral
⚪️ Manage positions to maintain required collateral levels
⚪️ GHO bridged from Ethereum via lock-and-mint
⚪️ Parameters set by Aave DAO
GHO’s launch on Avalanche adds new liquidity rails to the network. It deepens alignment with Ethereum-native DeFi, expands the stablecoin ecosystem, and Avalanche’s low fees and fast finality result in an improved UX for DeFi apps.
