BitTorrent has launched a big upgrade: BTTC 2.0 is coming soon Compared to many people who are familiar with #TRON and USDD, #BTTC is a low-key but important existence. This chain was initially dominated by Sun Ge and positioned as the cross-chain infrastructure of the #TRON ecosystem. Although technically operating independently, it is closely tied to TRON and can be understood as a key link in TRON's multi-chain strategy. So what is BTTC for? To put it simply, it wants to solve the old problem of "chains don't communicate with each other" - we have seen many chains develop in isolation in the past, assets/data cannot be circulated, and developers have to reinvent wheels, which is extremely inefficient. BTTC 2.0 introduces a new "three-tier architecture": (1) Execution Layer: Supports EVM smart contracts and is where developers directly deploy dApps. (2) Consensus Layer: Used for state synchronisation and communication between chains; (3) Data Transmission Layer: Handles cross-chain messages, status, and security verification. It sounds a bit complicated, but the core logic is clear: connecting and stabilising data and state - no longer just "transferring assets", but truly realising cross-chain collaboration and sharing user state for on-chain applications. It is not a "new public chain story", but a real underlying infrastructure upgrade. For whom? Of course, it is the TRON ecosystem, including a complete set of assets and protocols such as TRX, USDT, USDD, JustLend, etc. What cross-chain brings is new liquidity scenarios, new users, and new DeFi possibilities. From TRON's production reduction and upgrade, to the integration of USDT into global payments, coupled with BTTC's opening up of various chain islands, it is not difficult to see that a new goal is taking shape - to make TRON a truly global on-chain settlement layer.
