Anyone who used USDC to cross-chain into BOB before should remember the bridge: slow, card, for me, the slippage is high, and the USDC in me has not stepped out yet!
Now, it's finally the case – USDC on BOB has been officially upgraded to the Chainlink CCIP standard.
The old bridge USDC.e will be migrated to CCIP, and the new protocol will be faster and more stable, with almost zero disruption to users: the wallet balance will not change, the contract address will not change, and DeFi will not be affected.
On June 4th, the old bridge will be deactivated, and the migration is expected to take < 24 hours, during which cross-chain USDC cannot be cross-chain for the time being.
