ETH Dublin 2025 Hackathon Recap

Hackathon Overview

The ETH Dublin 2025 Hackathon was a success, with a total of 84 developers participating and 31 projects approved. At the heart of the event is the creation of impactful blockchain solutions with the help of multiple sponsors. Participants are encouraged to form balanced teams with diverse skills, using technical tools and sponsor support – such as Chainlink for data verification, Ledger for security, Filecoin for storage, and more.

Several projects focus on social impact: ÉireEncrypt is working on the development of privacy-preserving blockchain tools that meet GDPR compliance requirements; SafeRoads Ireland promotes safe driving through smart contracts. In addition, some projects use Ethereum to achieve rent control and a decentralized housing market, and immigration-themed digital solutions promote community integration, fully demonstrating the potential of blockchain technology to solve practical problems such as privacy protection, public safety, and education reform.

Overall, the ETH Dublin 2025 hackathon not only fostered collaboration between developers and partners, but also inspired many innovative projects that use blockchain technology to create social value.
