About SanDiskJoinsSP100
S&P Dow Jones Indices said after the Sep 4 close that SanDisk joins the S&P 100 before the open on Sep 21, replacing Colgate-Palmolive. All four additions come from information technology, SanDisk and Dell among them, while the four removals span industrials, consumer discretionary, real estate and staples, including Nike. Passive index funds will rebalance. Markets are closed Sep 7 for Labor Day, so the first normal reaction comes Sep 8. SanDisk had closed up 11.9% on Sep 4, pre-news.

$SNDK entering the S&P 100 triggered huge retail excitement, but I’m not convinced it’s automatically bullish.
The stock’s massive run has pushed expectations extremely high. I’m watching for signs of slowing demand, cyclical pressure, and aggressive industry expansion.
After an extraordinary rally, I’d rather focus on valuation and fundamentals than chase the hype.
For me, the key question is simple: is this sustainable growth, or another cyclical peak?

SanDisk has gone 45x in just 19 months since its IPO and is now replacing Nike in the S&P 100.

🚨 SanDisk just joined the S&P 100. Everyone’s celebrating — but this is exactly when investors need to stay sharp.
Yes, index inclusion is a big deal. It can bring passive fund buying, more visibility, and a stronger reputation as a major large-cap stock.
But here’s the catch: SanDisk is still a cyclical storage business.

NFP just knocked crypto lower, but AI memory stocks decided to go completely insane. 😂📈
While $BTC and $ETH were getting hit by the stronger-than-expected jobs data, the memory sector was doing the exact opposite.
Just look at the moves:
🚀 $SNDK +11.9% → $1,740
🚀 $MU +6%+ → broke $1,000
🚀 $SK Hynix +4%+
🚀 Philadelphia Semiconductor Index +3%+
So what’s driving this?
AI demand is still the elephant in the room.

$SNDK SanDisk got into the S&P 100, and retail investors went crazy, thinking it's a huge positive and even blindly going long. But when I saw the words "included in the index," my first reaction wasn't congratulations, but a chill down my spine—In crypto, this is called "listing is the peak." Many coins hit their all-time highs the day they get listed on major exchanges. A's Yushu Technology was halved right after listing. This popular SanDisk stock is just a hype stock, #DailyOrbit

Wall Street is trading the memory shortage and degens found the cow. 🐄
Sandisk is the clean setup. On the daily, it broke out of the descending channel that contained it since June and is building an inverse head and shoulders. The key distinction: $1,486 is the shoulder/support zone. The real neckline and confirmation sits around $1,780–$1,820. Give me a daily close above it and a successful hold, and this reversal has real legs.
The catalysts are there: S&P 100 inclusion on September 21 plus tight NAND supply as AI and data-center demand keeps absorbing capacity. Nansen positioning is where it gets spicy:
🟢 Smart Money: $11.8M long vs $1.8M short
🟢 Whales: leaning long
🔴 Public Figures: $27M short
Labeled cohorts are taking opposite sides. If $SNDK clears $1,820, that disagreement could resolve violently.
Then there’s Cache Cow $CACHE, the degen beta to the memory trade.
It’s trying to base above the $500K–$700K zone and reclaim $1M, but $1.48M is the barn door. Clear that level on real volume and the chart opens up.
Fresh Wallet flow shows +$135.6K over 24 hours and holders have climbed to 1,437. But don’t ignore the risk: Fresh Wallets control 28% of supply, the distribution score is only 16, liquidity is roughly $197K, and safety sits at 44/100.
Translation:
$SNDK = institutional memory trade
$CACHE = reflexive attention trade
I’m watching for $SNDK above $1,820 and $CACHE above $1.48M with volume.
The stock stores data and the cow stores attention. 🐄
