The withdrawal Allowlist is a security feature that restricts withdrawals to recipients saved in your withdrawal address book.

Before enabling it, make sure you’ve saved the OKX users and on-chain addresses you may need. To add, edit, or delete recipients, see How do I manage my withdrawal address book?

How do I enable the Allowlist?

  1. Open the OKX app and go to Assets > Withdraw > Withdraw crypto.

  2. Select a crypto, then open Address book from the destination options.

3. Select the Address settings icon in the upper-right corner.

4. Turn on Allowlist and complete the required security verification.

What is New address withdrawal lock?

You can enable New address withdrawal lock together with Allowlist. When it is enabled, a newly added recipient can’t be used for withdrawals for 24 hours. This setting provides additional protection if an unauthorized recipient is added to your address book.

How do I disable the Allowlist?

  1. Go to Assets > Withdraw > Withdraw crypto, select a crypto, and open Address book.

  2. Select Address settings, turn off Allowlist, and complete the required security verification.

After Allowlist is disabled, you can enter a new recipient manually during a withdrawal.

Important

  • When Allowlist is enabled, you can withdraw only to recipients saved in your withdrawal address book.

  • You can’t manually enter an unsaved recipient during a withdrawal.

  • Allowlist and recipient verification are separate settings. A recipient in the Allowlist isn’t automatically exempt from additional verification.

  • If New address withdrawal lock is enabled, newly added recipients can’t be used for withdrawals for 24 hours.
