welcome to the club, jupiter! my thoughts → jupiter is an onchain app so why didn’t they build on top of polymarket! my guess: they wanted users to bet directly with USDC on solana. fair, but they could’ve handled that through cross-chain execution services. maybe their devs just preferred calling APIs directly instead of dealing with cross-chain complexity or maybe there’s a business deal behind the scenes! → kalshi allows front-ends to tap into its liquidity without forcing KYC! my guess: that might be part of their long-term strategy because if they ever restrict frontend devs from accessing liquidity permissionlessly and building structured prediction markets, they’ll definitely lose the race to polymarket maybe we’ll see kalshi global launching soon!
Max Verstappen, or Lando Norris? Oscar Piastri or George Russell? Jupiter’s first ever Prediction Market is now LIVE (in beta). Powered by @Kalshi liquidity, you can trade on the F1 Mexico Grand Prix Winner 👇
