Next big meta is inevitably the merger of social media and finance. All the signs are here already:
1. Robinhood launching Robinhood Social
2. X launching X Money (& integrating polymarket)
3. Base App running on Farcaster
4. Pumpfun -> Streamer coins
I think people are underestimating how big this change is going to be… esp when running on decentralized rails. It unlocks crazy opportunities for composability, integrating reputation, and potentially altering social media models forever…
I’ll write about it more in the future, but it could be the basis for new economic/employment models just as AI begins disrupting/nuking our 9-to-5s. Wild times, and it's all the more reason to participate (rather than lurk) in the digital commons
