Mike Bloomberg once told me: “People remember you for what you do and how you give back to society.” Following that advice, I joined the Board of @newyorkcares - the City's largest volunteer network - and 6 years ago helped launch and Chair Stand with Students, which provides much-needed resources for NYC’s Title I schools - those with the fewest resources and highest needs. Since then I have worked to bridge my passion for Crypto with doing good - something I believe is more present amongst builders within the space than is realized. In 2021, @newyorkcares began to accept Bitcoin for donations and, in 2022, we worked with the @DOEChancellor to raise funds through digital assets. Today, NYC is quickly becoming a home to many Crypto companies and, this year, 17 firms came together under the banner of Crypto for Good to ensure tens of thousands of NYC students at Title I Schools receive tutoring, SAT prep and college guidance.
