The integration of Mantle and OP Succinct has officially taken place, with the biggest changes being:
1-hour finality, 12-hour withdrawals, saying goodbye to the 7-day challenge period. This is something that those who have been navigating L2 for years can truly feel; if you can use the native bridge, you definitely won't choose a third party.
This aligns with what Vitalik said: fast withdrawals are the next big step for L2s.
Changing from 7 days to 12 hours is enough to alter my usage habits, and in the future, L2s will continue this trend, enhancing the interaction experience between L2 and the mainnet to a new level.
(Currently not in effect, it is expected that the withdrawal improvements will take about 7 days to complete)
