The MKR to SKY upgrade is moving fast.
So far, 59.88% of all MKR has been upgraded, with over 10B SKY staked, that’s about 43% of the total supply.
Stakers have earned 16M+ USDS and 65M+ SPK along the way.
By upgrading you can start earning:
- SKY staking
- USDS + SPK rewards already flowing
- Thousands of holders already upgraded
- Stars governance rights
On Sept 18, governance will vote to confirm the delayed upgrade penalty.
If passed, starting Sept 22, MKR → SKY upgrades will receive 1% less SKY, with the penalty rising by 1% every 3 months after that.
No penalty applies to upgrades made before Sept 22 so don't wait.
