In fact, if you dig into the community, there are a lot of seasoned members, so I recommend local ambassadors instead of just content. I also work with partners in the gaming sector, so I only got into the community after half a year; it would have been tough otherwise... haha.
I am indeed all in on the project, but it's different because I'm part of a partner company and work directly with the foundation; I'm not a creator for the project!
And as far as I know, ambassadors communicate 100% in English, so being good at English will be advantageous. I've gotten to know some ambassadors and talked a lot with them, and while I have seen some ambassador friends who can't speak English, most of them are either native speakers or speak English well.

I also received a local ambassador proposal back in June... If you actively participate in the Suiswap community (even though I was less noticeable back then, I still received the proposal) and can manage English reasonably well, you should be able to do it without any issues!
