I sometimes forget how much of an attention-vacuum crypto bull markets are; you literally can’t focus on anything else because Jim, 41, from rural Alaska just made $5M trading a coin you hated during the entire bear market (looking at you XRP, ADA). But that’s why people keep coming back - it’s addictive and frankly awesome that you can just pull out your phone, tap a few buttons, and change the direction of your life. I often think about how you could apply this attention vacuum to pretty much any area of research, investment, industry, or technology. As we exit the memecoin era and take on a more legit, revenue-focused angle on the assets we create, I can’t help but think crypto will end up being the best vehicle for fundraising, gamifying user behavior, social investing, IPO-ing, and equitable ownership. It’s obvious, and I think we get there in less than 5 years.
