Attention Is All You Need --- Notes on the new IPO @Bullish “Attention Is All You Need” is the title of a 2017 research paper by Google Brain researchers (Vaswani et al.) that introduced the Transformer architecture. But “attention is all you need” isn’t just guidance for building AI — it’s also wisdom for living life. Bullish is essentially the 2017 eos team — back then they weren’t the hardest workers, but they had great luck, strong conviction, and good judgment. In 2017, the hot trend was token issuance, so they issued a token. After raising funds, they converted it into Bitcoin — making them one of the original “DAT” players in this space. After 2021, the hot trend shifted to regulation, so they put their assets into Bullish for a second venture. Their current business doesn’t seem particularly impactful — the U.S. already has plenty of execution-driven, at-scale exchanges. In essence, it’s another DAT play. But thanks to their brand backing, the market is giving them a 200% premium over NAV — essentially 200% in “sentiment value,” aka Memefi Value. So in truth, memes have always been here — it’s just that now, instead of $DOGE or $PNUT, it’s about looking at which DAT stocks have the highest sentiment value. A great practice worthy everyone to learn.
