I’ve taken a bit of a break from posting, but I’ve always stayed curious about teams building real products with real use cases. It’s great to discover and follow teams that focus on innovation and consistent delivery — those are the ones that keep me excited about the space.
In my view, the most promising innovations continue to emerge from the DeFi space. One standout for me is @pear_protocol. I started following them over a year ago (read: one decade in crypto), and they’ve been consistently shipping ever since.
Their latest update — the integration of the @HyperliquidX engine — is easily their biggest upgrade this year. I’ve spent the last few weeks testing it, and here’s a breakdown of the features.
Good things come to those who wait. PEAR PROTOCOL HYPERLIQUID ENGINE IS LIVE! Trade at
The specialization of @pear_protocol — surprise — pair trading. Their integration with @HyperliquidX takes this pretty much to the next level:
.@pear_protocol simplifies the way you interact with crypto pairs 🍐Choose the trading pair 🍐 View the chart of the pairing like $HYPE : $BTC 🍐Directly trade the pair, no manual long/short combinations needed.
Various order types are available: 🍐 TP/SL, also preset before trade execution. 🍐 Limit orders 🍐 TWAP (5 min- 24h time frame) for entering and exiting positions in a more planned manner.
Another unique feature: You can set your long:short ratio in whatever way you want Going bullish on $HYPE vs $BTC? 🍐Stick with 50:50 🍐 Or tilt it 80:20 to reflect your conviction.
Since it is an integration and on-chain your positions are also separately accessible via the @HyperliquidX interface. Consequently, your volume via @pear_protocol is getting recorded on @HyperliquidX (and you earn in addition HYPEAR points).
Besides all the memes, Solana trenches, and AI vaporware, it is a pleasure seeing real teams with dedication building stuff that is fun and useful. Excited to see what more @pear_protocol has in the books for making pair trading great again.
