FCA PROPOSES LIFTING RETAIL BAN ON CRYPTO ETNs
The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has proposed ending its retail ban on crypto ETNs, allowing everyday investors to buy BTC and ETH notes on FCA‑approved exchanges like the LSE. Derivatives remain banned for retail, and the change would take effect about eight weeks after final rules are published. A public consultation is now open.
