A very expensive lesson I learnt from crypto is to avoid listening to advice of “young rich entrepreneurs” Majority of this pool grow an ego that they have surpassed the older generation whether it was through skill or luck, and forget that the only way you grow as a person is through time and experience. Yes achieving financial success at a young age is cool and insanely rare, but the way someone achieves it does not determine how much of a genius they are. Your favourite influencer can luck their way through to a 8 fig pnl on moodeng (aggressively gamble and hold winners to overvalued targets) and proceed to give you life advice that you will worship because they “made it”. People tend to have this concept that an unc is immediately less successful if they have not achieved wealth because some other young trader already surpassed them. Ego will be the death of those who win quickly. Owari Yap chronicles.
