This Week at Aragon 🦅 🧪 We look back on a strong week for value accrual during @EthCC 📊 Integration spotlight: @etherscan 🔒 Aragon welcomes @hyperithm to better onchain governance

Oversubscribed, and not an empty seat in the house 📍 The Value Accrual Lab saw over 80 key decision makers in the space gather to get key insights from Aragon & partners on building something worth owning.

Last week in Cannes at EthCC, @AragonProject hosted the first ever Value Accrual Lab, a day of hands-on workshops with @CurveFinance, @AerodromeFi, @BlockworksAdv, and @Trevee_xyz. The purpose: share in-depth knowledge to support builders in designing their token as an asset for value creation and thus something worth owning. Equally important outcomes include growth flywheels and more secure governance, because they are all interlinked. It was the most refreshing and successful event I've been a part of at Aragon. We had 80+ selected attendees of over 400 applicants who attended four workshops (two being more higher-level and two in-depth): 1. Value Accrual and Incentive Design 2. Native token locker and staker design 3. Growth flywheels 4. Onchain incentive distribution Weeks were spent putting together each workshop using expertise and data collected over years. The guests were there to give their honest feedback on what their projects have done right and wrong. Thus what you should consider and avoid as a project looking to tap in a token value accrual system. The feedback was stellar and invaluable: The repeated feedback we got was: thanks for creating an event where we can learn, after all, that's one of the main reasons we are here. The stark reality is that people buy things to improve their lives. Every purchase includes an opportunity cost. If your project has a token, then inevitably it must have worth (derived from your product) and most tokens have proven they have none (even when the product might), thus you see the continued decay of the value of these tokens.
