Yet another "Oh look, Trump family has embraced Crypto/Bitcoin" by a group of journalists who 1. prefer stenograph guilt-by-association journalism of "Trump like Bitcoin. Trump Bad Therefore Bitcoin bad" over the intellectual load required of investigating who uses Bitcoin and why 2. are unable to distinguish the difference between crypto and Bitcoin 3. have no idea that long before Trump embraced Bitcoin, these 21 human rights activists did 4. appear unaware that Bitcoin adoption occurs across the political spectrum in a distribution that resembles the general population source: 5. have not demonstrated the intellectual curiosity to look into who are the major adoptors of Bitcoin have been and why (hint: its people who don't enjoy the priviledges you take for granted). Do better @ilyamarritz, @mariannemccune, @samkeslr, @NPR
