1. Project Introduction
Infrared Finance is the core liquid staking protocol in the Berachain ecosystem, and by providing two liquid staking tokens (LST), iBGT and iBERA, Infrared solves the problem of insufficient liquidity of governance tokens in the Berachain ecosystem $BGT and lowers the threshold for users to participate in staking
Token core features
1. iBGT: Generated by staking liquidity tokens (such as LP tokens of DEXs), the liquidity value of $BGT that could not be traded is released, which users can use for DeFi protocol interaction or secondary staking to obtain high returns
2. iBERA: Similar to traditional staking derivative tokens (such as Lido's stETH), users can obtain it by staking $BERA, and the redemption function will be opened in the future
3. Points Program: Launched in April 2025, users will accumulate points through staking, providing liquidity, etc., and it is expected to be exchanged for the native token in Q3 2025, and the exchange rate will be announced at TGE
