Let me share the entire thought process behind MapleStory. New coin launches have always been one of my favorite sectors to work on, and this time the overall strategy is roughly as follows: 1. I actually learned about the MapleStory game about 10 days ago. Before that, I had a vague idea that such a thing existed, so I researched the token model. I confirmed that the total supply is 1 billion tokens, with about 17% in circulation. Personally, I don't enjoy playing games much; the only ones I've played before are MapleStory and KartRider. MapleStory is officially self-funded and doesn't involve VC tokens, making it arguably the most reliable GameFi project in blockchain history. My initial thought was to go all-in if the price was below 0.5. 2. Initially, Binance only listed the alpha version, which made me very happy. I even mentioned in the 33DAO group that this was a chance to "steal the chicken." However, today Binance spot trading and Upbit spot trading were added consecutively, raising the expected price to 1. This price is purely speculative, as a 10 billion FDV is actually quite high for many VCs. I made a rough guess without any other basis. 3. Before the launch, I made several preparations. First, I tracked some on-chain addresses and found that the project team bridged 40 million tokens to BSC. Among these, one address allocated 15 million tokens and 500,000 BUSD. I guessed this was the address for adding liquidity. The price at this address was only 0.03u, but the scientists on BSC are too ruthless, so I didn't dare to snipe. Second, I considered what to use for buying. BSC trading offers many options, so I imported GMGN into the same wallet while keeping the OK interface open. At 1:55, I joined a voice call with a few friends to discuss the launch strategy. Around 1:58, the launch started early. I noticed the price was only 0.55, so I immediately began frantically buying, storming in from 0.76 to 1.5. I bought 250,000 tokens at an average price of 1u and immediately transferred them to Binance. This operation also prevented me from impulsively selling on-chain, as the highest price point usually appears on Binance. 4. I sold everything at 3u on Binance. I'll continue monitoring the situation because the hype is very high, and Korea hasn't launched yet. However, this new coin launch is already completed. This is purely a thought process sharing. When encountering new projects in the future, you can prepare according to this approach. One very important point is to conduct research and set a psychological price expectation. Determine the price at which you can go all-in without hesitation. Once that's decided, the rest becomes very simple.
